Terms & Conditions

These terms govern use of Nash County Released Inmates, including its record guides, agency contacts, links, and third-party tools. Using the site means that you accept these conditions. If you do not agree with them, do not continue to use the site.

This is a privately owned reference site with no government, sheriff, jail, court, or corrections affiliation. Neither this site nor its advertising partners provides FCRA-covered credit, employment, insurance, or tenant-screening services. We are not a private investigation firm or a consumer reporting agency.

The Role of This Website

Nash County Released Inmates is an independent guide to Nash County and North Carolina jail, release, supervision, and correctional record resources. It stores no official records and cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, file a request, or submit a court document for a visitor.

The site points readers toward records held by the Nash County Sheriff, North Carolina courts, NCDAC, NC SAVAN, and other public systems. It may also connect visitors with independent research tools.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the site in a lawful and respectful way. In particular, you must not:

  • violate any applicable law;
  • use information to stalk, threaten, intimidate, or harass another person;
  • rely on site content for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another prohibited eligibility decision;
  • attempt to enter accounts, systems, or restricted areas without authorization;
  • operate bots, crawlers, scrapers, or automated extraction tools; or
  • interfere with the site's operation or another visitor's access.

No Consumer Reports or FCRA Use

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not provide background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports, and neither it nor its advertising partners offers a screening service. By using the site, you agree not to use its content or linked results for:

  • decisions to hire, fire, or retain a worker;
  • tenant selection or any other housing decision;
  • creditworthiness, lending, or insurance premiums;
  • licensing, permits, or government-program eligibility; or
  • any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

External Resources Are Independent

Links may lead to the Nash County Sheriff, NCDAC, courts, release-record portals, legal-aid resources, federal systems, and private search services. A link is not an endorsement. We do not control an outside site's content, privacy practices, data handling, prices, or uptime, and visitors should review that site's own terms.

Service Provided As Is

The site and all its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranty that:

  • information is accurate, complete, or current;
  • the service will remain available without interruption;
  • every error, bug, or security weakness has been removed; or
  • a partner search will return complete or useful results.

Custody entries and public records can change quickly. Nothing presented here is an official statement by the Nash County Sheriff, NCDAC, a court, or another government body.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nash County Released Inmates and its operators will not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other damages arising from access to, use of, or inability to use the site or a linked service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by your use of the site or violation of these terms.

Ownership of Site Materials

Unless otherwise identified, the site's original text, graphics, logos, layout, and code belong to Nash County Released Inmates or its content partners. You may not copy, distribute, modify, republish, or create derivative works from those materials without written permission.

Revisions to These Terms

We may change these terms at any time. A revised version becomes effective when it is posted on this page.

Suspension or Termination of Access

We may restrict, suspend, or end access to all or part of the site at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice.

North Carolina Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be brought in a court of proper jurisdiction within North Carolina. References to public records may include North Carolina General Statutes Chapter 132, but that law governs public custodians and does not make this private site the custodian of Nash County records.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. The affected provision will be limited or revised only to the extent needed to make it enforceable.
